Ensign Gay achieved his notoriety by being the sole survivor of Torpedo Squadron Eight during the battle of Midway. You may have seen his story featured during the film, "Tora, Tora, Tora". He later authored a book about his military career entitled Sole Survivor.

Edition of 500 prints, each signed by George Gay. Frankly the only thing desirable about the print is the signature. It was one of my early projects and the art work was only fair. To compound the problem, the quality of the printing was not great and I chose to use a tan colored paper. The result is not worth bragging about. Still, the George Gay fans will like having the autograph and the price is very reasonable.
